Fall is the perfect time for home and garden clean-up

We’ve rounded the corner on summer, the kids are back in school and the days are finally cooler. September is the perfect month to knock off the outdoor projects on your to-do list.

So what exactly needs to be done?

Our Fall Maintenance Checklist is a great place to start:

  • Paint or touch up your home’s exterior

  • Power-wash windows and siding

  • Refinish the deck

  • Spread mulch or bark

  • Plant new trees and shrubs

  • Create perennial beds and borders

  • Add a deck or patio, or replace the existing one

  • Inspect the roof for possible hail or storm damage

  • Remove leaves and debris from gutters and downspouts

  • Mend cracks and gaps in the driveway and walkways

  • Rake leaves and aerate and winterize the lawn

If you’re not a do-it-yourselfer or too busy to tackle the chores on your list, give us a call. We can connect you with an excellent painting crew. We can also refer people who handle maintenance tasks large and small.
