Feel the Magic

Feel the magic

All of us are looking at the holidays through a different lens this season. There are plenty of fun things to do and ways to celebrate that don’t involve being indoors with lots of people. The outdoors are filled with holiday magic and the fresh air is safer. Dress warmly and enjoy these holiday traditions. It’s all about the lights.

Mile High Tree

Denver’s spectacular Mile High Tree puts on a dazzling music and lights show on the 16th Street Mall at Welton Street from 5 – 9:30 PM most Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and from 5 – 8 PM some Sundays. Check the show schedule before heading out. The FREE 5-minute music and light program plays every 15 minutes during show times. The lighted tree can be viewed anytime but without the music.

Zoo Lights

More than a million lights sparkle above the animals and their surroundings at Zoo Lights, an annual tradition for Denver families for 30 years. The brilliant show is on display from 5 – 10 PM through the evening of Dec 31st. Tickets range in price from $15 - $25 and must be purchased online. To maintain a safe setting, the zoo has instituted a 5-ticket limit.

Blossoms of Light

The Botanic Gardens Blossoms of Light holiday showcase has delighted Front Range families for years. The outdoor venue offers fresh air and visitor capacity is limited for your protection. The dazzling light and color show runs through January 16, 2021. Tickets are available online.

Neighborhood Walks

If you’re in the mood for a more mellow experience, fill your mug with a hot drink and stroll the neighborhood. Sometimes the best traditions are a few steps from home.

Wishing you a happy and safe holiday season.
